Lana Yvonne Petet's Obituary
Lana Yvonne Petet, age 82 of Powder Springs passed away April 13, 2023.
She was always a bright light to those around her with her enthusiasm and infectious giggle. Her creative passions were gardening and painting. Above all, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grand babies.
Lana was preceded in death by her husband, James David Petet, Sr and parents, John, and Veda Yother- Pettit.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Debbie Petet of Port St. Joe, Florida; son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Tiffany Petet of Columbiana, Alabama; daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Leslie Hunter of Ball Ground, Georgia.
Lana is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Candy Yother of Cave Creek, Arizona; grandchildren, Vicki and Lance Alexander of Carrollton, Jamie Petet of Carrollton, Olivia Petet of Atlanta, Savannah and Jordan Ashbey of Woodstock, and Ty Hunter of Ball Ground; great-grandchildren, Kylie and Alyson Alexander; nephew, James Todd Yother and niece, Terri Lynn Olguin both of Odessa, Texas; many more nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday 1:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lance Alexander officiating accompanied by John Alexander of Church on The Word. Interment will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for visitation prior to the service Saturday from 11:00AM-1:00PM
