Lamar Holbrooks' Obituary
Lamar Holbrooks, age 70 of Smyrna passed away January 6, 2018. Mr. Holbrooks was a member of American Legion Post 264 and was a well-loved man that really enjoyed helping people in need. He was also an enthusiast in Karaoke and cooking. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Holbrooks; sons, James Lamar Holbrooks Jr. of Monroe, GA and William Andrew Holbrooks of Eatonton, GA: 5 wonderful grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home, Austell. In Lieu of flowers the family have requested donations be made to the American Legion Post 264.
