Lacy Brandon Melton's Obituary
Mr. Lacy Brandon Melton,87 of Mableton passed away March 7, 2011. Mr. Melton was a lifelong resident of Mableton. One of nine children,Married October 3, 1953, Vada Miller; He was in the printing industry as an artist. Attended UGA on a GI Bill after serving in the army during WWII, where he majored in horticulture. Survivors also include;Sons and daughters-in-law, Perry and Gloria Melton of Powder Springs, Stan and Shelley Melton of Acworth; grandchildren, Hillary, Jeremy, Nathan and Caleb; Sister, Ernestine Medler of Oviedo,Fl. Funeral Services will be held Thursday 2:30 pm at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel. Rev. Eddie Barton officiating. Interment, Barber Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday 4-8 and Thursday 1-2:30 at the funeral home.
