Kimble Turner Jr.'s Obituary
Kimble Turner, Jr., age 74, passed peacefully on the 21st of March, 2014, at Northside Hospital, Atlanta, Ga. Mr. Turner lived in Powder Springs, Ga., for the past ten years, having moved here from Hawaii. He retired from PennPower as an Electrical Engineer, where he was a Start Up Manager on GE Power Plants throughout the world. He was a Vietnam Veteran and Member of the American Legion Post 294; Member of Powder Springs Senior Center; and an active member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Powder Springs. He is survived by Wife, Mabel K. Kim; Daughters—Stephanie Kay Turner and Dawn Michaela Turner; Stepson, Michael David Good; Step Grandchildren—Seth Garrett Good and Leah Michaela Good; Brother, James Turner. Celebration of life service will be held at 1830 hours on 1 April at Calvary Baptist Church in Powder Springs with Repast after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Georgia Alzheimer’s Association.
