Kerry "K" "Papa K" Arrington's Obituary
Kerry "K" Arrington (called Papa K by his grandchildren,) age 50 of Douglasville, died April 14, 2012. Kerry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a devoted Christian who always thought of others instead of himself and had a passion for feeding the homeless. "K" enjoyed coaching baseball and football. He is survived by his special mother, Margaret Lipe of Austell; wife, Phyllis Arrington; son, Robert Mark Arrington of Douglasville; daughter & son-in-law, Kera Arrington & Joey of Douglasville; son, Deampre Walker of Austell; daughter, Amanda Long Cole of Lithia Springs; daughter-in-law, Precious Arrington of Smyrna; brother, Robby Arrington of Alabama; and sister, Debbie Lipe of Hiram; nine grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews. The funeral service honoring his life will be held at Davis-Struempf Chapel on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at 2:00 PM with Bishopo Tony Nesbitt officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Sunday from 12 until 2 PM. Interment will follow at Lee's Chapel Cemetery in Carrollton.
