Kenneth Dale West's Obituary
Kenneth Dale West, age 67, of Dallas, GA passed away November 24, 2025.
Kenny was born to Ralph West and Thelma West (neé Shepard) and spent his early years in Atlanta. Later in his childhood, the family moved to the Cobb County area, where Kenny attended Pebblebrook High School.
A member of Rock Baptist Church since 1994, Kenny loved his church family and was integral in helping the church run smoothly as the clerk, soundman, and maintenance man.
Kenny was a hard worker and had a keen mind for technology. He spent many years with AT&T, and spent 16 years with Cobb County Water before retiring in 2024. His free hours were spent working on and operating CB and Ham radios – his call sign was W4KDW.
He was a beloved husband, father, and friend who will be missed dearly.
Kenny is preceded in death by both of his parents; brother, Jerry West; and sister, Bobbie Sailors.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda West; sons, Jeremy West of Glendale, AZ and Patrick West of Dallas, GA; brother, Harold West (Pam) of Mableton, GA; and many beloved extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 3, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home.
A funeral service honoring Kenny’s life will be held Thursday, December 4, 1:00 PM at Rock Baptist Church, Dallas. The family will also receive friends at the church from 12:00 to 1:00 PM before the service.
Interment will follow the service at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park.
