Kay was an amazing woman whom I loved dearly. She will forever be in my heart. I love and miss her!
I was always comforted knowing I had her as a second mom next door growing up on Boulder Lane. It wasn’t just the hours, hours playing with Melissa and Gregory, but the “mom”
things she did for me. Even with my birthday being 2 days after Christmas, she’d take the time to make the most amazing cartoon birthday cakes by hand (Snoopy; Garfield; Kermit, etc…). And the funniest memory I have was that the first time I was in car in which a police officer pulled over an adult for speeding, it was Mrs.Dietz driving us in carpool!!! However, she didn’t agree with police officer’s assessment. I feel so blessed and honored to have had such a loving but fierce motherly protector right next door whenever I needed throughout my childhood and adolescence. She was truly a gift. ❤️
