Karen Jane Morgan's Obituary
Karen Jane Morgan, age 81, of Austell went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 12, 2024.
Karen was born to the late Henry Clayton “PeeWee” Morgan and Mary Lou Morgan (née Baker) in Atlanta, GA.
Karen was a long-time resident of Austell. She retired after 41 years of service from Dun & Bradstreet Recovery Management Services. Karen was a devoted member of Calvary Baptist Church and loved her church family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donald Morgan; and nephew, Kevin Morgan.
Karen is survived by her sister-in-law, Barbara Morgan of Austell; nephew, Tim Morgan of Dallas; long-time friend and caregiver; Betty Pittman (Donald) of Austell; great-nephews, Dylan Morgan (Aundria) of Woodstock and Patrick Morgan of Dallas; great-niece, Stephanie Yeary (Justin) of Colorado Springs, CO; and many beloved extended family and friends.
A funeral service honoring Karen’s life will be held Monday, September 16th, 1:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Mozley Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 1:00 PM before the funeral service.
