June Marie Sandras' Obituary
June Sandras, age 88, lived a long and blessed life in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, with a recent relocation to Douglasville, Georgia. She passed away on December 19, 2025.
She was a treasured daughter to her parents, Oscar and Jeanne Berthelot, who preceded her in death. She graduated from Holy Name of Mary High School. She was the loving wife of Warner Sandras for 67 years and was a kind, thoughtful, and supportive Mother to Tammy Sandras Brothers (Larry), Dave Sandras, and Perry Sandras. She loved and adored her Grandson Bryan Brothers (Becky) and her Great-Granddaughter Juliette Brothers. She was a loving and supportive sister to her brother, Melvin Berthelot Sr. (Pat), and a special “Aunt June” to Kathleen Berthelot Blum and Melvin Berthelot Jr.
June “Mom” was the unwavering pillar of our family, known for her willingness to be supportive, her endless patience, and her quiet strength that guided us. She was the heart of our home and will be dearly missed by her family.
A memorial service honoring June's life will be held Saturday, January 10th, 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Chapel with Dr. Farren Roper officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM before the service.
