June Frost Graham of Marietta, GA passed from this life on July 7, 2016. She was 83 years young. June led a very fun and active life in the community. She was a member of the Silver Sneakers program at the Gold’s Gym in Austell, attending classes nearly everyday for almost 15 years, and she was a founding member of the lunch bunch. She is dearly missed by all of her friends.
June spent her working career as a bookkeeper and secretary with the State of Georgia on Jekyll Island and The King and Prince Hotel on Saint Simons Island. She worked as an office manager at Dixie Distributing in Jackson, TN and managed several Burger King restaurants in Tennessee and Texas. She moved to Atlanta in 1989 as an administrative assistant at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. She was married to Roy Carmack Wyatt from 1953 until 1969. She married Willie “Bill” Graham in 1997, and they lived a happy and adventurous life touring around the US and visiting friends and family until Bill’s death in 2007. She spent her last decade entertaining her friends and family with stories of her antics throughout her wonderful 83 years.
June is survived by her son, David Keith Wyatt of Lawrenceville, GA; her daughter Dana Ann Saffel of Santa Rosa Beach, FL; three grandchildren, Brendan Alexander Beale of Atlanta, GA; Brandon Craig Saffel of Dunwoody, GA, and Eric Thomas Saffel of Santa Rosa Beach, FL; and her sister Ann Frost Davis of Malakoff, Tx.
Memorial services will be held at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home & Crematory, 1975 East-West Connector, Austell, GA at 7:00pm on Tuesday, July 19, 2016.
