Julius Everett Blahut's Obituary
BLAHUT, Julius “Everett”
Mr. Julius E Blahut, 77, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2009 at his home in Hiram, GA. Mr. Blahut was born February 19, 1932 to Elizabeth and Wayne Blahut. He is survived by his wife of 26 years Vicki, his son and daughter-in-law Bruce and Debbie Blahut; daughter and son-in-law Rebecca and Ed Bell; and five grandchildren Stepanie Tysinger, Samantha Blahut, Tyler Bell, Mitchell Woods-Bell, and Alex Bell. He is also survived by three brothers and their spouses: Charles and Glenda, Warren and Kathleen, and Myron and Beverly Blahut. Everett was a graduate of Washington University and was an architect for more than 50 years. The last 15 were spent in business for himself. He loved his work and never considered retiring. He moved to Atlanta from St. Louis Mo in 1961 to escape the cold and snow, and enjoyed the warmer climate Georgia had to offer. Mr. Blahut had battled colon cancer for 12 long years, but always had a great attitude and loved vacationing at the beach every year with his grandchildren and traveling around in his RV. He was surrounded by many friends and loved ones during his last days and will be missed by all who loved him dearly.
