I miss you every day grandma, I graduated high school by the way. Stuck it out the whole time and made sure I have a diploma, NOT a GED. I went to prom too. I got all dressed up and we got my hair curled. It looks nice, but I think you would have hated my dress. I hate it now too lol. 6 more days and it will be 11 years since you passed away. I’m sorry I didn’t go see you in the hospital, I was so angry at everyone back then that I didn’t care. It took probably half a year for it to hit me and I broke down completely. There are so many days I wish I could curl up against you in bed and tell you everything and actually LISTEN to the advice that you give. There are a lot of mornings I sing “You Are My Sunshine” to myself while driving to work. Did you remember when you’d sing that to me while driving to elementary school? I hope every memory you had while you were passing was a good one.
