Juanita Cox's Obituary
Juanita Cox, age 65, of Dallas passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019. Gladys was a big fan of classic rock and some of her favorite bands include Jimmy Buffett, The Eagles and Janice Joplin. She valued the importance of education. She was always the life of the party and loved being around everyone. Gladys especially loved her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling to Panama City and having margaritas on the beach.
Gladys is survived by her husband, Barry Cox Sr.; son, Barry Edward Cox Jr. of Dallas; son and daughter-in-law, Cody and Kayla Cox of Dallas; sister, Janet Adams of Griffin; brother, Mark Carilse of Kennesaw; grandchildren, Christian Edward Cox and Emersyn Wayne Cox.
Funeral Services will be held Friday 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Powder Springs City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00-2:00 PM prior to the service. Flowers and gifts are accepted and may be delivered to Davis-Struempf Funeral Home.
