Mr. J.R. Lindsey, age 67 of Lithia Springs, passed away June 27, 2012. J.R. was a member of Mt. Harmony Baptist church. He graduated from South Cobb High School in 1964, then served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War Read Obituary

J. R. attended Douglas County H.S. the same time my husband, Hubert Garner was there. They "hung out" with the same bunch. My best memory of J.R. was how much fun he was to be around. Hubert and I began dating in '60 and married in '63. J. R. came to SCHS when I was in the senior class there.
It is so sad to learn of J. R.'s passing.
