Joyce Tollison, age 66, of Mableton passed away on January 17, 2021. Joyce loved puzzles, reading, and arts & crafts. She was especially passionate about painting. Her love of the arts drove her to work at both Hobby Lobby and the Read Obituary
I've only known Joyce for 3 years. Shes a wonderful woman! We swapped recipes and shared stories, offered help/advice and even played doctor on me a few times and I also looked after her when she became sick. Christmas was her ultimate favorite time of the year. A couple of times she requested I "shape" up the tree and make it look new again. She knew that is one of the things I do enjoy and I love to see her smile. We even went shopping for presents together and spent 2 hours looking through matchbox cars to find certain ones. Im going to miss her dearly. Missing our good mornings especially. I love you Joyce. Until I see you again please continue to guide me along in life just as you have already done. ~YOUR WINGS WERE READY BUT OUR HEARTS WEREN'T *FLY HIGH ANGEL*~

To all my family: Jerry and I are both saddened at the loss of Joyce. We loved her as we do all of our cousins and Aunt Hazel. We can't come to the funeral home because of our health . Joyce was such a sweet person.But She painted my momma a picture of a lighthouse and the waved hitting the bank and it is beautiful. Joyce was such a inspirational person because she was fun to be around and a joy to know. My mom Lillie Crankshaw Barnett would go on Sundays to vist Joyce and Aunt Hazel. It was such a great to see Aunt Hazel smeiling so big ..She is my last Aunt living...but I feel that she may not be after this. O am so sorry to Joyce's family and Ronnie...Them 2 wad made for each other...i will miss Joyce and her beautiful smile and kind heart she shared..
