Joyce Eubanks Thomas' Obituary
Joyce Eubanks Thomas, age 80 of Austell passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014. She was a member of Clarkdale Methodist Church and attended First Baptist Church of Austell. Joyce was President of the Austell Woman's Club in the 1970's. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Franklin "Willie" Thomas. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Anna and Rick Hughes; son, William "Scrappy" Thomas; grandchildren, Ellie and Emory Hughes; brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Betty Eubanks all of Austell. Memorial Services will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM, Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Eddie Barton officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Murphy Harpst Children Center, 740 Fletcher Street, Cedartown, GA 30125
