Joseph Maucler “Frantz” Jean-Gilles, age 58 of Marietta, passed away December 4, 2010. Frantz was born in Haiti. Four years ago, he moved from New York City to Georgia and was the owner-operator of a taxi service. He was a member of Salem Seventh Day Adventist Church. He is survived by his wife, Soretta Jean-Gilles; children, Derna Jean-Gilles, Valerie Jean-Gilles, Dimitry Jean-Gilles, Pascale Jean-Gilles, & Sammy Jean-Gilles; grandchildren, Brianna Jacques & Jeremiah Jean-Gilles; and brothers & sisters, Pierre Viel, Marie Maude Lambert, Roody Lambert, Clark Joachin Jean-Gilles, Eric Lambert, Yves Gerald Lambert, Edzer Lambert, Marie Michelle Lambert, & Kehely Lambert. Funeral services will held at the Davis-Struempf Chapel on Saturday at 7:00 PM. And will be held at the Salem Seventh Day Adventist Church on Sunday 11:00 AM. He will lie in state at 10:00 AM.
