Jody,
It has taken me 10 plus years, to write in your book of remembrance. One thing, I remember & will cherish, is that we would say over the years, “ Whomever dies first, the other will be at their funeral”…what that said, was “I still love you and will honor your memory”. I am so sorry you were so young you have missed so much. Thank you for giving me, Chad, nothing could honor your memory, more than your children and now grandchildren. You are still alive in them. Expectably, when I see Chad and Kristen, I see glimpses of you. Both of them look like the Ivester’s side of the family. Tami would said, that “Jan & Jody looked more like brother and sister” which we did. When Chad walks away from me, I see your shoulders and the way you walked, and his eyes are so blue, when he is charming, kind and has empathy, I see glimpses of you. Thank you so much for Chad and the love we shared. I think when you really love someone; you never stop loving them it just changes, to a different kind of love.
Tami, thank you for loving Jody, you completed his life, his best years was with you and the kids.
Love Jan
