Josephine Friar's Obituary
Josephine Friar age 99 of Powder Springs passed away Wednesday, April 08, 2015. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church from 1949-2015; retired from Cobb General Hospital and was a member of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Linda Friar of Powder Springs; sisters, Pauline Robinson of Toccoa and Pearline Yearwood of Toccoa; grandchildren, Doug & Christa Friar, Steve & Amy Lynn Friar and Amy Friar; great grandchildren, Dalton, Houston, Anna and Kalyn; nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday 11:00 AM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Powder Springs. Interment will follow at Powder Springs City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 11-1 and 4-8 pm at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home.
