Joseph L. “Jody” Jerkins, Jr. age 49 of Austell passed away March 30, 2017. Jody is survived by his son, Joseph L. “Ethan” Jerkins, III. of Austell; parents, Mayor and Mrs. Joe Jerkins of Austell; sister, Lisa Jerkins of Austell; aunts, Vicki Riggins and Janice Williams; uncle, Michael Jerkins. He is also survived by many cousins.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday 3:00 PM at Austell First Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Ridgway officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 4:00-8:00 PM at Davis- Struempf Funeral Home, Austell. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Georgia Sheriffs Boys Ranch, 5671 Boys Ranch Road Hahira, GA 31632 or The Wounded Warrior Project, 3343 Peachtree Road NE #M20 Atlanta, GA 30326
