Jorge Alberto Flores, de 70 años y residente de Mableton, Georgia, falleció pacíficamente el 16 de mayo de 2026. Nacido en 1955 en El Salvador, Jorge dedicó muchos años de su vida a trabajar como conductor para una aerolínea antes de iniciar un nuevo capítulo como camionero al mudarse a los Estados Unidos a la edad de 41 años.
Atesoraba la emoción de encontrar tesoros ocultos y compartir esos momentos con amigos y familiares. Por encima de todo, Jorge fue un esposo devoto y un amigo muy querido para muchos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.
Jorge fue un miembro fiel de la Iglesia Pentecostal de Jesucristo Roca de Salvación.
Le sobreviven su amada esposa de 35 años, Marta Preza de Flores, junto con numerosos familiares y amigos.
La familia recibirá a amigos y allegados para el velorio el viernes 29 de mayo de 2026, de 4:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m.
Se llevará a cabo un servicio fúnebre en honor a la vida de Jorge el sábado 30 de mayo de 2026, a las 11:00 a. m., en la Capilla Davis-Struempf, oficiado por el pastor Félix Ferrufino. Tras el servicio, se procederá al sepelio en el Cementerio Barber, en Mableton.
Jorge Alberto Flores, age 70, of Mableton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026. Born in 1955, in El Salvador, Jorge dedicated many years of his life working as a driver for an airline before embarking on a new chapter as a truck driver when he moved to the United States at the age of 41.
He cherished the thrill of finding hidden treasures and sharing those moments with friends and family. Above all, Jorge was a devoted husband and a beloved friend to many who had the privilege of knowing him.
Jorge was a devoted member of Iglesia Pentecostal de Jesucristo Roca de Salvacion.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 35 years, Marta Preza de Flores, along with many extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
A funeral service honoring Jorge's life will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Davis-Struempf Chapel, with Pastor Felix Ferrufino officiating. Following the service, interment will occur at Barber Cemetery in Mableton.
