Johny Gary Richardson's Obituary
Johny Gary Richardson, age 72 passed away June 25, 2022.
He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Works and retired from Georgia Power.
Johny enjoyed reading and watching movies. He was a gun enthusiast and big sports fan.
Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family whom he loved dearly.
Johny was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Roslee Richardson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Sheryel Richardson; sister, Gail (Don) Glass of Dallas; nephew, Donnie (Samantha) Glass of Dallas; sister-in-law, Carole Privette of Douglasville; niece, Shelly (Wayne) Collett of Powder Springs; nephew, Kyle (Shonna’) Privette of Villa Rica.
Johny is also survived by great-nephew, Josh (Mary) Collett; great-niece, Kaitlin Collett; great-nephew, Whitner Privette; great-nephew, Nicholas Coltharp; great- niece, Kara Byers; great-great nephew, Warner Collett; great-great niece, Isla Collett; great-great nephew, Carson Byers; great-great nephew, Lucas Byers.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Wayne Collett officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for visitation Tuesday prior to the service from 12:00-2:00 PM.
Flowers are accepted, or in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Heart Association at www.heart.org, The American Lung Association at www.lung.org, or the ASPCA at www.aspca.org.
