Johnny R. Baker's Obituary
Johnny Robert Baker, age 86, went to his heavenly home on Friday, June 30th, 2023 at NHC of Anniston, Alabama. He fought a long battle with various health problems. We wish to thank Enhabit Hospice of Oxford, AL for the care given to Johnny.
He was born in Clinton, South Carolina and moved to Georgia as a child. Joined the United States Army in 1956. He married Barbara Sikes in Oct of 1970 and Joyce Daniell in July 2006.
Chubby retired from Nabisco in Atlanta. He was active in his church, Oakdale Church of God, Smyrna, Georgia.
He is survived by his brother LaDon Herring; niece, Cindy Keller; and two nephews, Steven Allen Baker and John James Baker of Loganville, Georgia.
The funeral will be a graveside service at Crest Lawn Memorial Park, 2000 Marietta Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318 on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 1:00 pm.
