John Henry Barkwell's Obituary
John Henry Barkwell, age 91, of Austell passed away April 22, 2019. John retired from Lockheed after 38 years of service and was a Mason at Masonic Lodge 721 for over 50 years. He is preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Martha Snow Barkwell. Surviving are his children, Debra (Tom) Allen and Steve (Selene) Barkwell; grandchildren, Brad (Emily) Allen, Jason (Katie) Barkwell, and Brian (Rosie) Barkwell; and great grandchildren, Alexis and Julia Allen, and Caroline, Caleb, Nolan, and Camila Barkwell. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 25th, 1:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Chapel with Kevin Scott officiating. Interment will follow the service at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends before the service from 12:00 to 1:00 PM.
