JoEllen Mitchell Remole Ellis, daughter of Veyne and Mildred Mitchell, was born in Mexico, Missouri on June the twenty-seventh in 1956. A mid-westerner at heart, JoEllen moved to Moberly, Missouri where she grew up with her brothe Read Obituary
JoEllen is a warmhearted, encouraging and fun spirit to be around. She’s always had her sweet smiles and vivacious spirit emanating from her sparkling eyes. I look forward to spending more time with her and the other loved ones that have gone before us in the presence of ou Saviour.
JoEllen and I were neighbors in Milford Chase and also attended Fortified Hills Baptist Church. We taught VBS one summer together and she was wonderful with the children and made lasting memories that I still recall of that week still today. I'm thinking of you in friendship and sympathy. When someone so special touches our hearts, they are never truly gone.

What a lovely and giving person she was. I so enjoyed worshipping with her at Marietta Church of the Nazarene. She helped plan and execute our wedding reception 31 years agin. The last time I saw her was just a few months ago at Marietta Church anniversary celebration where we had such a nice time talking and catching up on our hugs. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
I've known JoEllen since we were children. Our parents were good friends so we spent a lot of time together. We lost track of each other until a few years ago we reconnected. We spent a few days with her in Atlanta and witnessed her heart for helping others. There is no doubt in my mind that she is already in heaven. She was a one of a kind special person who will be missed by many.
