Joel Teal's Obituary
Master Sgt. Joel L. Teal, Retired, age 77, of Powder Springs, passed away Friday, September 24, 2011. Mr. Teal retired as Master Sargent from the U.S. Air Force after 21 years service with NSA. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ethel Little Teal; sons, Morris Teal of Gainesville, and Joel Wesley Teal of Powder Springs; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Richard Murray of Hiram; granddaughter, Whitney Lovay of Gainesville; sister, Van Thomas; brothers, Gary Teal, Herman Teal, Lamar Teal, and Johnny Teal. Funeral services will be held Monday, 11 AM, Davis-Struempf Chapel, with Rev. Tommy Little and Rev. Paul Little officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 - 7 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home and Crematory, Austell. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1825 Barrett Lakes Blvd., Suite 280, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
