Joel was the most brilliant person I ever met. Our connection mainly was through his daughter. Although I only saw him a few times in 37 years, I considered him a friend. In the last year we spoke about his book and his charitable work. I tried calling today and then Googled his name and was shocked and saddened. Rest in peace dear friend and know that your advice helped me very much.
