Laura,
I wanted to pass along my deepest sympathies on Jimmy's passing. Though I never got to know Jimmy well, I know he must be a heck of a guy because you are one heck of a girl.
Just think Jimmy is up there talking with some of our shared heros (Duane, Berry, Jimi, et al). I'd like to think so.
Hang in there! See you at the race in the Fall if not before.##imported-begin##Joe Halpin##imported-end##
Dear Laura,
My heart goes out to you in a sincere way during this most difficult time. I was shocked and deeply saddened, while thinking of you, when I heard of Jimmy's passing. Thank you so much for having Charlie call me.
I know you loved Jimmy so much and you were very close. Your love was obvious as his name came up often in our conversations.
I've been thinking of you everyday and my prayers will continue that God will provide you, Heather and Kim with His comfort and strength as you strive to carry on. I can only imagine your most deepest grief and pain of loss, but please know that God doen't give us more than we can handle with His help and there are many people who care and love you and will continue to be there for you.
May God be with your family in a very special way during this time.
Sincerely yours,
Mark Gazan##imported-begin##Mark Gazan##imported-end##

Laura, Heather, & Kim: I just wanted you to know how much I love you and that I'm thinking of you during this sad time of your lives. I will miss Jimmy so much. He was so special and I am so proud that God allowed me to have Jimmy as my friend. We may not understand the "why" during tragic times like this, but rest assured that God has a plan and He will take care of you! I will certainly be praying for you all!##imported-begin##Connie Rhodes##imported-end##

Wendy and I met Jim and you last year for dinner before the race in Atlanta and we were both struck by what a down-to-earth guy Jim was-you 2 were made for each other. Our deepest sympathy is with you and the family.
