We were so very sad to hear this. They were a beautiful Christian couple that will be sorely miss. Love and condolences to the Family. We had some wonderful treasured times with them. Love and hugs to the family.
17 years ago I met Angela and we became dear friends and now
are more like sisters. Shortly thereafter, I got to meet Pop and
Mama Cheatham and came to love them deeply. We had lots of
fun times together over the years and lots of laughter. We took
trips together, shared stories, enjoyed Cracker Barrel breakfasts,
and lots of shopping. The light of the Lord shined bright in their
strong faith & their love of precious family & friends. I know they
are hand in hand smiling as they begin their eternal life in heaven.
I pray that the family will feel comfort and strength during this time &
the treasure chest of sweet memories will fill your hearts.
Love & prayers,
Beth Horton
Dear Andy, Allen, Angela and family - there is not enough space or words to adequately express my love for your Mom and Dad. I praise God today that He allowed our paths to cross and contact with your amazing & loving family. Your Mom and Dad walked with me through the valley of the shadow of death when my first husband died. They loved on me and my kids and were there for me when I needed them. Put your Mom and I together and we could talk :) I loved her like a sister. I, too, have lost both my parents, though not at the same time. I love you all so much and will continue to pray for you. I will be here if you ever need me or my family.
Thank you, God, for the privilege of knowing these two. Glory to God - all praise is due You for their lives. Well done, good and faithful servants!
With much love and prayers Jane Hixson & family
Joyce,
So sorry to hear of the passing of your sister. I have yet to lose a sibling, but my sister Joyce is struggling with diabetes and other health problems, and we will have to face it no doubt, one day in near future. Our prayers go out to you and your family.
Love and prayers,
Jane Rainwater
Andy, Allen, Angela, & families,
Please know that you all are in our thoughts & prayers. We have such precious memories of Jim & Alyce from when we were all members at First Baptist - Austell. Your family was a BLESSING to us all!!! I know Jim is already singing in the tenor section of the Heavenly Choir with Hollis (Frey), and Alyce is singing with my Mom. May you all feel God's loving arms surrounding you in the days ahead.
With love & prayers,
Vicki & Charles Frey
What a deep loss to their family, both of them departing this earth so close together... but what a wonderful couple they were, strong witnesses for Jesus at 1st Baptist Austell where we knew them. Our deepest sympathy to their kids and grandkids.
