Jewell Daniel Richardson, age 83, of Lithia Springs passed away March 14, 2014. She was a member of Sunset Hill Baptist Church and retired from Douglas County School System as a bus driver, where many still remember her. Jewell was an amazing cook and everyone especially loved her biscuits. She was very well loved by many and especially loved her family. Survived by her husband of 66 years, Ralph Richardson of Lithia Springs; sons and daughters in law, Tracy and Diane Richardson of Titus, Alabama, Phillip and Glenda Richardson of Douglasville, Greg and Karen Richardson of Douglasville; daughter, Robin Dumas of Tyrone; Foster son, Michael and Deborah Rainwater of Center Point, Alabama; grandchildren, Jeremy and Lisa Richardson, Brandon and Katie Richardson, Jenny and Matt Underwood, Gregory and Lisa Richardson, Brett Richardson, Kimberly and Bradley Wheeler and Angela Rainwater; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Underwood, Hannah Richardson, Jacob Richardson, Rylee Richardson, Aiden Richardson, Jake Richardson, Shelby Underwood, Kaelyn Wheeler, Ava Richardson, Aubrey Wheeler, Michelle Richardson; Also survived by brother and sister-in-law, Elmo and Bernice Daniel of Douglasville; sisters and brother-in-law, Nell and Richard Smith of Douglasville; sister, Hilda Smith of Fayettville. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, 2:00 PM at Davis- Struempf Chapel with Rev. Gregory Richardson, Rev. Virgil Smith, and Dr. Marion Beaver Officiating. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 4:00-8:00 PM at Davis- Struempf Funeral Home.
