Jannie Kite's Obituary
Mrs. Jannie Kite, age 85, passed away Friday, March 4, 2011. Mrs. Kite was a homemaker and had been employed in the clothing manufacturing business. She was a 72 year member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Powder Springs. Survived by daughters, Linda Bonds of Hiram, Pam Smith of Douglasville, Wanda Shoemaker of Carrollton; sister, Margaret Austin of Powder Springs; brother, James "Gable" Wallace of Douglasville; sisters-in-law, Zelma Wallace of Powder Springs and Doris Wallace of Lithia Springs; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, 11 AM, Davis-Struempf Chapel, with Rev. Vernon Parmer and Rev. Darrell Hunter officiating. Interment in Powder Springs City Cemetery, Rev. Rodney Carson officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 4-8 PM and Sunday from 1-7 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home and Crematory, Austell, GA.
