Janie White Griffith's Obituary
Janie White Griffith, 68, died peacefully at home on Thursday, December 28th.
She attended West Fulton High School and Graduated South Cobb High School in 1967. On June 12, 1976 she married Donald Griffith.
She lived in many different places including Lithia Springs, Ga, Longwood, FL, Wedowee, AL and love spending time at her second home in Ozello, FL before settling in Douglasville to be near family. She will especially be remembered for her love of her Family and especially her grand kids and great grand kids. She had the kindest heart and made everyone feel loved and welcomed around her.
Mrs. Griffith is preceded in death by her parents Bill and Betty White.
Survivors include her husband Donnie, his parents Myrl and Roy Cato, her daughter Leigh Ann and son in law Randy Pittman, Her son Stephen Brent Phillips and daughter in law Trichia. Her grandchildren Kaley and husband Brandon DeJuliannie, Megan and fiancé Ben Buckner, Hunter Phillips, Colton Phillips, Cole Pittman and Chris Pittman. Her great grandchildren Makenzie, Brayden, Elise, Christian and Bastian. Her four sisters Barbara and husband Marion Hambrick, JoAnne and husband George Caldwell, Roselyn and husband Jimmy Walker, Jill and husband Wade Bettis. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 and Memorial Services will be at 3:00 at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home, Austell Georgia with Rev. Deborah Griffith officiating.
