Janice Tallent Marrs' Obituary
Janice Tallent Marrs, age 73, of Austell, GA passed away May 15, 2018. Janice was an awesome wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was an avid church participant where she taught Sunday school, sang in the choir, and participated in several committees. She dedicated her life to helping others and was a Wellstar employee for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Joseph “Skip” Marrs, Jr., mother, Reba Aldridge Tallent, and father, Toy M. Tallent. She is survived by her daughters, Melody Marrs of Hinesville, GA and Meleta Marrs of Richmond Hill, GA; grandchildren, Sage Wilbanks, Bobby Nasr, Michelle Nasr, Brannon Burns, and Victoria Burns; siblings, Edwin Tallent, Joan Grunau, Danny Tallent, Anita Burns, and Vickie Ghadamyari. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
Funeral services will be held Friday 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Faver officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM prior to the service. Entombment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.
