James Malcom Satterfield's Obituary
James Malcom Satterfield of Mableton, died Thursday, January 28, 2010 at the age of 84. He was born June 7, 1925 in Huntsville, Alabama. James was a man of many talents and enjoyed working and staying busy. He retired from Georgia Duct at the age of 72. He remained active after retirement on various projects until his health made it impossible. He enjoyed life and making friends, never met a stranger, and always accepted people as they were. He never lost his wit or love of conversation and maintained that wit until the day before his death. He loved his family and was always there for them. He is survived by his wife of sixty-six years, Eva Satterfield; a son, Frank Satterfield of Douglasville, GA; daughter, Sheila Middleton of Douglasville, GA; three sisters; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
