James M. Parker's Obituary
Mr. James M. “Jim” Parker, age 60 of Powder Springs, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2009. He was an Army veteran who served two tours of duty in Vietnam and was employed with J. Wayne Shelton Co. Mr. Parker was a member of Trinity Chapel Church of God and enjoyed doing volunteer work. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Parker of Powder Springs; sister, Diane E. Stanley of Villa Rica; and his nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Davis-Struempf Chapel with Rev. Harold Woodson officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 until 8 PM.
