James Lewis "Jim" Crowder's Obituary
Mr. James Lewis Crowder, age 76, of Marietta died Monday, September 8, 2008. Mr. Crowder, along with his late wife, Dorothy Sanders Crowder, was co-founder of Crowder Insurance Agency, Austell (later re-located to Marietta). After the passing of Dorothy Crowder, Mr. Crowder married Mary Henderson Holden of Marietta. As a couple, they were active at Eastside Baptist Church. Mr. Crowder is survived by his daughters, Karen Crowder Fricks of Powder Springs, and Traci Lea Crowder of Atlanta; his stepchildren, Cindy Holden Williams of Alpharetta and Philip William Holden of Acworth; his grandchildren, Evan Fricks, Alyse Fricks and Anna Fricks; and his step-grandchildren, Brett Hall, Nathan Williams, Madison Holden and Sydney Holden. Surviving siblings include Emory Crowder of Powder Springs, Charles Crowder of Alpharetta, Jeanette Holland of Fort Worth, Texas, and Helen Conley of Powder Springs; and several beloved nieces and nephews. Dr. Charles L. Holland, Jr. and Reverend Kenneth Ellison will officiate services.
