James O. Snellgrove's Obituary
Mr. James Oliver Snellgrove, age 72, of Austell passed away July 3rd, 2016. Mr. Snellgrove was a member of the Hasan Shrine Temple of Albany and Dougherty Masonic Lodge. He is preceded in death by his parents Elmer Snellgrove and Bertie Fowler, brother, Ray Snellgrove; and children Melissa Snellgrove Pannell and step-son Kyle Crook. He is survived by his wife Dianne Cole Crook Snellgrove of Austell, son, Scott Snellgrove of Albany; daughter, Michelle Taylor of Tennessee; step-son Kelly Crook of Austell; sister, Patricia (Bill) Downs of Yulee, Fl; twelve grandchildren, Megan Cleary Wise (Thomas) of Tennessee; Alexis Rodriquez of Oregon; Brandon, Bradley(Paula) and Brent Taylor of Tennessee; Hillary Snellgrove of Albany; Tiffany Snellgrove of Albany; Rebecca Pannell of Wisconson; Katelyn, Connor, Ryan and Nolan Crook of Elberton, four great-grandchildren with another great-grandchild on the way and many nieces and nephews. The Family will receive friends on Wednesday July 6th, 2016 at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at Davis-Struempf Chapel Thursday July 7th, 2016 at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Donald Downs officiating. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make donations to; Flowers for the Living through the Shriners.
