James “JB” Bernard Bellamy, age 86 of Hiram passed away May 9, 2014. James was a member of Martinville Baptist Church and served the country honorably in both the Army and Air Force during WW II. He retired from Bowman Transportation and was truly an honest, giving and loving man. Once he gave you his word, you could take it to the bank. James is survived by his wife, Dorothy Bellamy of Hiram; son and daughter-in-law, John Leighton and Diane Smith of Austell; step-son, William and Tammy Mulligan of Villa Rica; 7 grandchildren, Natash Garcia, Caleb Smith, Austin Gann, Autumn Smith, Westin Gann, Journey Smith, Sebree Smith. Funeral Services will be held Monday 11:00 AM at Davis- Struempf Chapel with Rev. Billy Wood and Rev. Donnie Evans officiating. Interment will follow at College Park Cemetery. The family invites friends to join them Sunday from 1:00-4:00 PM at Davis- Struempf Funeral Home for fellowship and reflection.
