James L. "Jim" Hutcheson Sr. 's Obituary
James L. “Jim” Hutcheson, Sr., age 86, passed away March 20, 2017. Jim retired as the owner/operator of Anchor Printing Co. in Austell; a business that he started in 1973. He was of Christian Faith and wrote many different Christian tracks and pamphlets which he gave freely to church ministries. Jim was known for coaching little league in the 1960’s and 70’s. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Joyce Coggins Hutcheson; two sons, Jim Hutcheson, Jr. and Jeff Hutcheson; eight grandchildren, Scott Hutcheson, Lauren Smith, Melissa Padgett, Lisa Hutcheson, Joshua Hutcheson, Kristen Hutcheson, Beckett Hutcheson, and Anna Jane Hutcheson; three great grandchildren, Daniel Baker, Emily Baker, and Hazel Padgett; brother and sister-in-law, Franklin “Hot” and Dianne Hutcheson; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 25, 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Chapel with Rev. Eddie Barton officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Interment to follow the service at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. After interment, the family encourages friends to join them back at the funeral home for fellowship. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
