James E. Hardy Jr., age 69 of Austell passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013. He retired from Cobb County Board of Education as a School Counselor. James played the bagpipes and loved traveling, reading and photography. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda Hardy; daughter and son-in-law, Alison & Glenn Davis; granddaughters, Julia & Sarah. Graveside services will be held Friday, 11:00 am at Rose Hill Cemetery in Austell. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4-8 pm at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home & Crematory, Austell. Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the Austell Fire Department, 5890 Mulberry Street, Austell, GA 30168 in memory of James.
