James Dudley Crymes' Obituary
James Dudley Crymes, age 59, of Smyrna passed away November 5, 2020. Jimmy was a life-long resident of Cobb County, having grown up in Austell and graduated from South Cobb High School. He was a business owner in the community for over 20 years in the electric, housing, and HVAC industries, and was dedicated to any job he undertook. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his children, fishing trips, and visiting the ocean. Jimmy was a beloved father and was delighted when his grandchildren came along to make him a “papa”.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, Dudley and Margaret Crymes; and brother, Ronnie Crymes. He is survived by his daughters and their partners, Erin Leigh Crymes (Brandon Lupo) of Atlanta, and Megan Crymes-Rogers (Keenan Rogers) of Marietta; sister, Linda Zaccheo of Jasper; grandchildren, Carolina and Eoin; and nieces, Wendy, Michelle, and Kim.
Private family services to be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org.
