I wish I had known he passed, I would have loved to pay my respects. Mr. Bud was a wonderful man, very kind and patient. I lived near him and during covid, would go on walks with my little girl, we would pass his house where he sat and watched the neighborhood. It became a treat to look forward to our brief conversations and the kind sentiments he would share. He will be dearly missed.
I am saddened to learn of Bud's passing. I don't think I've ever met a more
humble servant on God's green earth. My family has special memories of
Bud and Chloie from our many years at Austell First Methodist. Our brother,
Neil and I had the wonderful experience of seeing Bud just a few years ago
at the Beltone Hearing Aid shop in Douglasville. He drove up from Austell probably safer than most on the road with him! Bud recognized us immediately. Another very special memory. Blessings to all the family.

So many nice memories of feeding the ducks and homemade ice cream. Bud was a great man and always so kind and loving. The world will miss him. ❤️

Great Uncle Bud was a great man to know, always kind and helpful to everyone he came across. Was great to watch and learn from him at the Big Family get togethers, especially playing Rook, talk fishing with him and Irvin. The world is less bright for sure, but sure he is playing Rook with the rest of the family upstrairs!
I had the privilege to Have Bud as a neighbor and he taught me what a good neighbor does . He shares and he cares . He is not prideful or materialistic. He said any tool anytime . Bud carried love everywhere he went. I am so full of gratitude that i met a man with so much character. When you see him do it , it makes you want to do it . He has been a blessing to me and to Austell.
Susan, So saddened to hear your Daddy passed away. I know how much you loved him and he adored you. He was definitely a Daddy to be proud of. My prayers are with you and your family.
