Jackie Carr 's Obituary
Jackie Carr, age 81 of Douglasville passed away February 27, 2020.
Jackie was a member of St. Luke Methodist Church in Mableton where she was a member of the choir. She retired from Atlanta Gas Light Company after 20 years.
Jackie was a volunteer Pink Lady at Cobb General Hospital. She loved to play the organ and sing.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, CW Freeman and Richard D. Carr; son, Jon David Freeman.
Jackie is survived by her daughter, Dana Freeman of Powder Springs; grandchildren, Kristen (Joshua) Dodgen of Douglasville; Jason Freeman of Douglasville; Jeffrey Freeman of Douglasville; Rebecca Freeman of Loxley, AL; Billy (Jodee) Crites of Spanish Fort, AL; sister, Joyce Holland of Smyrna; brother, Billy (Annette) Easterwood of Douglasville; sister, Sue Ellen Cannella of Greenville, SC. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, Kamryn Freeman, Josi Sawyer, and Will Crites.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 1:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Jennifer Lee officiating. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00-8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association at action.lung.org
