Infant Journey Vivien Ellinas' Obituary
Miss Journey Vivien Hope Ellinas, infant daughter of Matthew John and Ashley Elisabeth Ellinas, entered this world with great determination on January 12, 2015. She was beautiful, weighing 3 lbs., 14 oz., and was 17 inches long. Little Journey’s arrival was much anticipated by her brother Ashton and sister Vivien. They prayed for her and talked about her at length. Her family was blessed to have two hours to hold, cuddle, and sing to her before she went to her heavenly home at 12:33 p.m. on January 12, 2015.
Journey is deeply loved by her mommy and daddy, big brother, and big sister. She will always remain her parents’ precious baby and Ashton and Vivien’s little sister, and they will hold her again in heaven one day. Until that time, they take great comfort that sweet baby Journey will be carried by God who promises us eternal life.
Journey is survived by large family of love in addition to her parents, brother, and sister. Surviving grandparents are Curtis and Debbie Anderson of Flowery Branch, Georgia; John and Michelle Ellinas of Douglasville, Georgia; and great-grandmother LaVelle Robbins of Dayton, Ohio. She will be carried in the hearts of her aunts and uncles, Tiffany Anderson, Travis and Lauren Hunnicutt, Jonathan and Rebekah Anderson, Austin Anderson, Josh and Elizabeth Francis, Josiah and Leah Baker, Stephen Ellinas, and Timothy Ellinas. Surviving cousins include Thomas, Evan, Brooke, and Noah Hunnicutt; Victor, Ryan, and Emma Kate Anderson; Annette, Karson, Phoebe, and Noah Francis; Tim Tate; Caroline, Allison, and Fred Davis; Jeremy, Kelly, and Christopher DelMatto; and Christina Graham. Her great-aunts and great-uncles are Danny and Thelma Witt; Gary and Jessica DelMatto; John and Kim Graham; Jerry and Linda Tate; Gary and Janet Davis; and John and Cathy Moore.
The family is so appreciative of the many weeks of prayer on their behalf to our faithful God.
Services will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church in Smyrna with Pastor T.P. Johnston and Pastor Doug Huggins officiating. Interment will follow the service at Mozley Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Arrangements are with Davis-Struempf Funeral Home, Austell.
