Humberto Olvera Gonzalez's Obituary
Father, husband, and beloved friend to all. Humberto “Beto” Olvera Gonzalez was an amazing soul who touched the hearts of many and any who he passed by with his contagious laugh. Humberto passed away on October 13, 2021, at the age of 44 after a courageous and well fought battle against COVID, surrounded by his wife and children who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest. Beto met the love of his life, Macrina, while hanging out with her brothers around the neighborhood in their small town of Llango Largo, Hidalgo. After a couple of years, they migrated to the United States with their oldest daughter Montserrat to start a new beginning. For the next 20 years, they had two children, Ashley, and Bryan, and created many unforgettable memories around the world. He kept rolling in laughter because he could find humor in the most mundane life circumstances. Offering to make pineapple margaritas on any occasion to anyone who passed his front door house. His outings had to commence with any sort of food, following a prioritize stop at the nearest ice-cream shop where many sticky fingers followed. And his Saturday nights ended with his lovely wife, cruising in his 1928 Ford Model A, taking her to a lovely dinner as he would call “A single night with no kids”. Expect to hear motors revving and someone yelling “Ay Maria” if you can find him in Heaven, as he’s probably sanding houses for God and the rest of the crew as we’re reading this right now. He assures us that he is gone and that he will be greatly missed, but to never stop laughing when thinking of his legacy that he left us here on earth.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 16th, 8:00 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Interment will follow the service at Kennesaw Memorial Park.
