Huey Joe Theus' Obituary
Huey Joe Theus, age 75 of Mableton, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2013. Huey, an artist, was elected to the office of State President of the Georgia Jaycees and retired as marketing director of the Georgia Department of Labor with 35 years service.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Andrea Theus; children, Patrick Theus and Bonnie Theus, both of SC, Kelly Couzens of Mableton, Shannon Fuller of Mableton, and Andi Fuller of Alpharetta; sister, Patsy Garcia of Cordele; 8 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
The memorial service to honor his life will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment with Military Honors at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, will be held on Monday at 11:30 AM.
