Hilda Bell Rutherford's Obituary
Hilda Bell Rutherford, 99 years young of Mableton, GA passed away Friday, May 14, 2021. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home with Reverand Calvin Chatham officiating. Interment will follow the service at Georgia Memorial Park.
A visitation is scheduled Tuesday, May 18, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00pm at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home.
Hilda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold Rutherford of 61 years. She is survived by her son, Hank Rutherford of Panama City, FL and daughter, Beverly Roesel of Destin, FL; brother, James Hanes of Douglasville, GA; sister, Annie Ruth Brock of Mableton, GA; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Hilda lived a long, loving, and caring life, always putting others ahead of herself. She was the strongest and kindest woman who loved her family and was loved by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She is an inspiration and the joy she brought to others will never be forgotten.
