Helen "Polly" Mize's Obituary
Helen “Polly” Mize, age 89 of Mableton passed away December 8, 2024 surrounded by her family.
Polly was a longtime member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church and retired from Cobb General Hospital in 1997 as a pediatric nurse.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eugene Mize and children, Cindy and Troy Mize.
Polly is survived by her son, Jim Mize of Mableton and daughter, Glenda Turner of Inman, South Carolina; grandson, Andrew Turner; great-grandchildren, Alan and Andrea Turner.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 12, 2024, 1:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Randal Whitten officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation prior to the service Thursday from 11:00AM-1:00PM.
