Hazel Miller Wooten Lewis' Obituary
Hazel Miller Wooten Lewis, age 82 of Powder Springs passed away Friday, June 6, 2014. She retired from Globe Union and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #294 and held many offices at the District and Unit levels in Powder Springs and the Mableton Moose Club. Hazel loved playing bingo, shopping and pulling the one arm bandits. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald Wooten and Riley Lewis and also her daughter, Linda Acree. Hazel is survived by her children, Donald & Vickie Wooten, Jr. of Fayetteville; Marie & Mickey Edwards of Fayetteville, Patty Hawkins of Fayetteville, Hubert & Shirley Wooten of Austell , Terry Wooten of Powder Springs, Paulette & Cecil Curry of Conyers, Donna Garner of Covington and Tommy Lewis of Conyers; 18 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sister, Sue Nell Morrison of Delta, AL; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Monday at 1:00 PM, Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mickey Edwards officiating. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-8 PM at the funeral home.
