Harriett Jacklyn Dollar, age 82, of Marietta passed away November 20, 2025
Jackie was born in Marietta, GA to Rev. James Erastus Brooks and Ruby Liddie Brooks (neé Henry). She graduated from Osborne High School and was a long-time member of Rose Lane Baptist Church
Jackie found joy in her sewing projects, curling up with a good book, and watching her westerns. She also loved listening to her favorite singer, Alan Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond D. Dollar; and sisters, Marie Sanges, Edith Lizabeth Brooks, and Martha Ann Renfroe.
She is survived by nieces, Sheila Parr (Stephen) and Liddie Pauline Fullerton (Tony); godson, Kelly Turner (Tammy); beloved dog, Beau; and many great nieces & nephews and extended family.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 22, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and again on Sunday, November 23, 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home.
A funeral service honoring Jackie’s life will be held Sunday, November 23, 11:00 AM at Davis-Stuempf Chapel with Rev. Stephen Dews officiating.
Interment will follow the service at Mountain View Memorial Park.
